Overview
Apple recently unveiled the next generation of smartwatches. I can enjoy a brighter screen, the 64-bit dual-core processor, built-in wifi, and BlueTooth. I will always be able to stay connected. The battery lasts for up to 18 hours of use. Different sensors can constantly monitor my health. And with the new oxygen sensor, I am ready to notice when my health is deteriorating and go to the doctor.
I can see the text messages I receive on the screen. If I have headphones and listen to music while I walk, I can switch between songs with a button on the watch. Another very lovely plus is the water resistance. Even at depths of up to 50 meters, I will not worry about the safety of your AppleWatch. And with a weight of 40 grams, it will be pretty weightless on my hand.
Function
The main novelty of this watch was the measurement of oxygen levels in the blood. The new icon for this function is in the form of a red and blue line. By clicking on it, I can go to this suggestion. And by pressing the "Start" button, I can measure the oxygen level in my blood. This suggestion also works in the background. I see all the measurements I have taken in the "Health" offer. From the main application screen (Overview), I have to click on the menu item "Show all Medidata" then scroll down three screens - only after that will we see the line "Oxygen in the blood".
In order not to search every time among the other measurements, you can click on the "Change" button in front of the "Favorites" heading in the "Overview" section, and there mark "Blood Oxygen" with an asterisk. Then it will show up on the main screen of the app. You can see your averages. And make the necessary conclusions. Maybe you need to go to the doctor and get a checkup.
Or take a little more frequent walks in the fresh air. But it would be best if you always remembered that this is not medical equipment. The data may not be accurate. In case of a critical fall (below 90%), we can program the watch automatically to send a request to medical services or relatives. In today's realities, this is a precious option: we know that a person with COVID-19 illness can begin to lack oxygen literally within a couple of hours, which, in turn, entails confusion and even loss of consciousness. For this feature to be as effective as possible, following Apple's recommendations for wearing the watch on the arm is crucial. It should fit snugly enough, not dangling but not squeezing the hand and not resting on the bone. Then the measurements will be more accurate, and the measurement data will be as precise as possible.
The second feature of the Apple Watch Series 6 is a continuously working altimeter. Theoretically, this should be useful during hiking in the mountains or any activities in large open spaces. The altimeter, for example, detects climbs when cycling. But in reality, this function is a bit specific. Exceptionally few people will be able to use this function frequently in everyday life.
As in older versions, there is a blood pulse measurement. It works in the background. And at the right moment will tell you that you are not all right and you need to go to the doctor.
You can monitor the quality of your sleep. The Sleep app allows you to do things quickly before you go to sleep and helps you keep track of your sleep. You can set up your sleep schedule and stick to it.
They have added more activities. And what I like best is that you can monitor your vitals at any time. The screen is always on, and even in bright light, everything is visible.
The Apple Music offer makes it more convenient to listen to your favorite music or exciting podcasts. Now you can do your daily work or play sports without carrying a smartphone to do it.

Impression and experience
It is comfortable in all its aspects. I can see Apple made that this whole line of smartwatches every detail great. It is a watch that I want to wear all the time. A one-piece belt that can not accidentally get snagged on something. It is charming to the touch and fits nicely on the hand. The colors the designers worked on are beautiful. The watch's color is gentle ashy pink, versatile black and white, passionate and bright red, and strong blue. Anyone can find their favorite color. I think this could be an excellent gift for a child as well as for the other half. The older generation will also be able to appreciate the advantage of such a technique.
The design of the watch itself is almost unchanged from Series 5. The case dimensions are entirely identical. The location of the microphone, speaker, buttons, and the materials and screen are all identical. Apple added two new colors. A beautiful red and a stern blue. Red would go perfectly with red lipstick and a purse. And strict blue will go perfectly with both a business suit and jeans.
There are a lot of advantages to this watch. It is an excellent choice. A quality device, well put together both technically and design-wise. Only they have a significant disadvantage. Getting good functionality and performance, you still get a battery that you have to charge, if not every day, then every day. But, this is not a disadvantage of this particular watch and all smartwatches. But, I believe Apple will fix this problem sooner.
The watch comes in a completely white package with the Apple logo and the word Watch stamped on it. Inside the package are two boxes: one contains the watch and the charger, the other includes the strap. There is no charger in this watch. The company explained this by saying that there is no need to increase the amount of plastic because the user has enough USB chargers. I think that's right. But it looks like the company wants to reduce its costs, citing concern for the environment.
The innovation of this watch is the moon bracelets. These straps are without any clasps or fasteners. There are 12 sizes. You can determine your bracelet download and print a PDF file from which you must cut out a strip with a size scale. You have to be careful when printing. It is necessary to set the scale to 100% in the printer settings. You cut the strip and then wrap it around your hand. The arrows at the wider end will point to one of the divisions, and the number indicated there is just the correct bracelet size.
It is essential to specify the size at which the bracelet fits snugly around your hand. The correct measurement of oxygen, heart rate, etc., depends on this. Therefore, you should take this very seriously. It is essential not to take a "spare" size. Bracelets can be of two kinds. I can read, Textile, made of coarse threads, or "Strap made of elastic recycled fiber with woven silicone threads," according to the Apple website.
You will notice how much it makes your life more comfortable and pleasant, but you only see all the advantages and benefits of a smartwatch when you take it off.
Conclusion
SmartWatch is a good solution for active people who do not want to carry a smartphone during active pastime constantly. Sports, walking, traveling. In any situation, the function of the watch helps me. The AppleWatch would not only show me what time it is. I quickly get used to such a handy little thing as a smartwatch.
The main hardware innovation of the Apple Watch Series 6 is the appearance of a heart rate monitor. This watch is the only one (in 2021) which can measure the amount of oxygen in the blood automatically, in the background mode.
But this feature is not entirely concrete yet. I think this will get better with time.
Other than this feature, there are no innovations as such. If you have an Apple Watch Series 5, I do not see the point of buying this watch, but if you have an older version or do not have a watch, of course, there is a point. AppleWatch Series 6 is a very handy device that definitely deserves my and your attention.
